Course Syllabus

    • Working on multi tiered cakes, completely different from each other individual will be
      working on their own individual cake.

    • On day 1 we will be discussing theory part – planning stage for the smooth execution on
      heavy orderof the cake, tin uses for different tier, weight distribution, decoration and
      color pallet, other major topics.

    • How to do layering, torting, ganaching, fondant draping with sharp edges.

    • Cake stacking/Dowling

    •  Different textures and techniques. Marbling effect, Bass relief and other mold work,
      Crackled effect(blow torch), Use of gold lustre dust, Airbrushing, Texture on fondant,
      Onlay, Stenciling, ruffles, Edible sugar lace from the scratch recipe Wafer paper/sugar
      print art.

    • Use of separator and accessories in a cake
       Cake construction – Stacking and doweling for solid foundation, (by keeping in mind of
      our Indian roads)

    • Sugar Flowers – Gum paste rose, peony flower, leaves and buds, it’s assembly and
      placement on the cake giving life like feel

    • How to Price your cake. Storage before delivery. Temperature maintenance at the time
      of delivery. Safe Transportation.

    • Guidance what tool kit have to carry at the time of assembling the cake at the venue.

    • Professional Photography Idea. 

    • Detailed Notes will be provided with vendor details.
